The Economy, My Buddy Dave, a Beautiful Island, and Lawnkeepers

by George L. Kenney

My wife Susie recently had a week off from her job. Being an online marketer gave me the latitude to take some time off with her while still keeping up with my business. That’s certainly one of the advantages of having an online business.

One thing that we have always enjoyed together is long walks on the beach at sunrise. Living less than a mile from the ocean makes it possible for us to take our walks every weekend when we want. having a home based business makes it easier to take our walks more often when Susie is on vacation.

Does Halloween Predict the Election Day Results?

by Dawn Szwec

Halloween and the Presidential Election come within a few days of each other this year. Is there any connection between the costumes people choose and the outcome of elections?

This year Halloween retailers are saying there is an explosion of orders for Barack Obama Masks, John McCain masks and Sarah Palin costumes. Since Obama and McCain basically wear suits, there is no real need for a complicated costume. A standard dress suit worn with a purchased mask does the trick. Go online and look at pictures of your favorite presidential candidate. Pay close attention to the type of shoe, shirt and tie he typically wears. You might even want to add a campaign button to promote your favorite party.

AZ Prop 102

by Seth Mcaffe

While it is acceptable for all people to construct and harbor their own beliefs in regards to Prop 102, there still seems to be some confusion and misunderstanding about the actual intent of the proposition. With this in mind, we encourage all residents of Arizona to base their opinions on the facts and cast their vote according this November.

Simply put; Prop 102 seeks to clearly define marriage in the state of Arizona as the union of one woman and one man. Prop 102 is not proposed to deny the rights or benefits of any individual, persons or group. Unfortunately, the purpose of the proposition has been the cause of much confusion for many. It should be pointed out that by seeking to clearly defining “marriage” as the union of one man to one woman; it does not imply that Prop 102 has any latent messages or intentions to limit rights. The proposition has nothing to with denying rights.

Bailout Crisis - Real Estate, Property Taxes and the Bailout

by George Evers

Are financial leaders have proven themselves to be a band of numbskulls. The leadership offered is a socialist vs. a watered down free market solution embedded with heavy lobby money. Lobby financial interests have befuddled clear thinking.

Unqualified buyers were encouraged into mortgages, the root cause for the financial meltdown. Our financial subprime woes started with Jimmy Carter who, though well meaning, dumb-headedly enacted legislation to encourage loans to people who were bad credit risks. Purchasing a home and paying property taxes was supposed to be the cure all for financial happiness and getting ahead. His administration began distancing itself from conservative lending and accounting principles.

With the Clintons in the White House, the problem skyrocketed. They passed legislation punishing the mortgage companies if they did not lend to poor credit risk borrowers. They put laws with teeth in them thus encouraging easy credit with eyes shut to risk. Sound lending practices were foresaken.

How to Power Your Car to Run on Water Fuel Alternative

by Dr. Matthew Loop

The cost of gas has skyrocketed out of control. These high gas prices make filling up your gas tank equivalent to buying over a week’s worth of groceries, and at the moment it does not appear that relief is in sight.

Science has shown that hydrogen may be the next best alternative energy source if we expect to stop requiring foreign oil for fuel, but hydrogen can be difficult to create and even harder to implement. Luckily, there is already a way to use the hydrogen power in your car’s engine that does not require purchasing a new vehicle or extensive auto-repair know-how.

Pure hydrogen technology may be difficult to implement, but that does not mean that there is no way to utilize the power of hydrogen as an alternative energy source. Researchers and automobile experts have found a way to use a form of gas - known as HHO gas - to help power cars using a mixture of both gasoline and 100% safe and affordable hydrogen power.
